Panasonic previews world’s first 6,000 lumens 1-chip DLP laser projector

New range of laser projectors bring unparalleled ease of installation and maintenance

Panasonic Business Systems has today previewed the PT-RZ670, the upcoming addition to the company’s Solid Shine line of projectors, at its 2014 Roadshow. It features 20,000 hours of working life without lamp replacement and flexible, all angle, installation.

At the same time, critical applications such as control rooms and signage will benefit from the build quality and absolute reliability of the projector.”

The PT-RZ670 and PT-RW630 both boast 6,000 lumens brightness and are WUXGA and WXGA respectively. Powered by a laser light source, they do not require lamp or filter maintenance for 20 000 hours or more depending on usage.

Both projectors provide superb colour reproduction thanks to the proprietary Detail Clarity Processor 3 that brings out fine details.

Easy installation allows landscape and portrait mounting as well as vertical/horizontal/tilting 360 degrees projection without any effect on the life of the light source. In addition, the RZ670 has built in geometric adjustment, enabling projections onto curved and irregular shaped screens, making this the ideal projector in museums, exhibitions and show rooms where creativity makes a difference.
